Tinzo and Book Club Radio return to the dance floor in “Dark Indie Dance Mix at a Vampire Party”.
Tinzo plays a darker blend of indie dance and dark disco at a vampire party inside “Dracula’s Castle”. The result draws on that simple idea: it is not just a filmed DJ set, but a session built around atmosphere, dress code, the closeness of the dance floor to the DJ, and Book Club Radio’s community ethos.
Tinzo is an artist and DJ connected to Brooklyn and a co-founder of Book Club Radio. She moves between house, electro, indie dance, soul, trance and other styles. There is a clear focus on narrative, atmosphere and connection with the room. The sound may be dark, but it never feels closed off: it retains body, groove and a sense of celebration.

The set has enough darkness to sustain the concept, but it does not lapse into an overly rigid gothic mood or empty nostalgia. It remains danceable, colourful and physical. “In Darkness” by NNHMN, “Nightmare Disco” by Karassimeon and “Rise From Your Grave” by Buzz Kull fit particularly well in that space between nocturnal theatre and music that works on the dance floor.
This video shows a side of DJ-set culture that is often lost in overly sterile recordings: the party as setting, community and collective body. Here, the music is not separated from the room. The “vampire party” idea could have been just a visual gimmick, but the track selection holds the concept together coherently.
